The pneumatically tilted pouring bowl pours metered amounts of lead into five moulds simultaneously. The level of lead in each mould is sensed and monitored by a laser measuring unit. A robot skims off the dross from 3 moulds simultaneously and deposits it into a reclaiming bin.
