Lewis Australia can supply TIG welding and resistance roll seam welding machines
for welding components such as catalytic converters. The seam welding machine, pictured, incorporates a computer numerical control (CNC)
to allow instant changing of weld path programs to suit a range of different
shaped products.
Weld parameters are
changed ‘on the fly’ giving optimum welding rates on straights and radii thus
achieving one of the world’s fastest production rates in a machine also offering
high product flexibility.
The TIG arc welding machine has a welding tip which is driven around the outer
edge of the part.
The machine is equipped with an automatic arc detection system which maintains
the optimal distance between the part and the welding tip for a repeatable
perfect weld. |
